Hi

Wondering if anyone can shed any light on this for me

I was working at a store in April 2013 (had been there a few years) and in September 2013 left and got a job at a different shop full time.

I have just recieved my p60 and it has my earnings for my current job on there (just below £9000) and the tax iv paid (£786)
But it doesn't have my previous earnings on there?

Obviously I'd had wages from April to September they were part time wages so not a lot but they arnt on my p60.

No idea what that will mean but my boss said I might have been on week1 status for my previous job but iv no idea what that is?!

So confused and from what iv read myself I should also be due tax back...also read that it would be in wages this year so is that all in one go in my next wage? Or not?

Anyone with any help would be an absolute star :)

Did you hand in your P45 to your new job when you started? If not then the figures from your previous employment wont be on it. However if you did they should have added the figures in. This would show in the 1st box on your P60 (earned in previous employment)

You should have a copy of your p45 anyway as top copy is always to be kept by yourself. If you are claiming credits/benefits you will need to submit both.

Hope thats helped a little.

My OH had a similar problem with his 2012-2013 P60...the employer before his current one didnt submit his P45 or whatever, so on his P60 it only had his earnings from Dec - april! However he was paying tax etc.
