Really Struggling today

I posted what had happened to me a few weeks ago. I had a mmc at 8 weeks followed by ERPC on 16th Dec. This was my first pregnancy.
A month after I found out I was pregnant my best friend said she was too. She has her scan today, and although I don't yet know the result, I feel terrible. Why did it have to happen to me and my bean!

Massive massive hugs honey.I know this must be so hard for you.Unfortunately I dont have any of the answers about why it could have happened to you-sometimes it really is only because of bad horrible luck. Just try (as hard as I know it is) to embrace your friends pregnancy and be happy for her and keep it in your mind that it will be you one day soon. xxxxxxxxx

hi hun my niece has her scan in a few weeks and i am dreading hearing about it cos i want to be happy without feeling slightly bitter and i know i will feel that way and i dont want too. i suppose all we can do is keep positive and think that will be me soon.
keep your chin up hun you seem to be doing well so far but it does take time and you will have ups and downs.

Thanks guys, you're so right though. I want to be pleased for her. It's all good news. But I can't help it. I don't wish her or her baby ill, don;t get me wrong, but I don't want to hear about it either.

Of course you havent.we all understand on here just how hard it is.I think it will take you some time to be able to be happy for other people without being sad about whats happened to you.Its natural,youre not heartless.xxxx

yeh i know you want it to be good news for her , but just wish it was you too.
not heartless hun heartbroken , but definately not heartless.
nobody can understand how many emotions you go through when this happens, or how long it can take unless they have been there.hang in there hun .

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I had the same type of situation happen to me in 2007. My good friend and I both found out we were pregnant on the same day...then 8 weeks later I lost my baby bean.

I just want to give you a big hug and tell you I understand the pain, I've been through it to. There are no words to make you feel better, just know you are not alone.
