 hi everyone, Im a long time lurker, ive only posted once before, but seriously need some help!

We are really struggling with names  were having a little boy, and im 25 weeks but just cant come up with any names we LOVE. Why are boys names soo hard to decide on? Our daughter name was easy!

The only name we have is Jack William, purely because we agree on nothing else, but of course i want our child to have a name we love, not just one that we called him because we couldnt think of anything else!!

Weve bee through every baby book possible, ive looked on all the popular baby names sites and having no luck

How did you come up with your names? any suggestions. Im scared our little bubba will be born nameless!!

TIA

Gina x

Hello, I totally get where your coming from. Im 31 weeks now (on team yellow) and have no names picked out yet. Im starting to feel the pressure that I should get on it but Im having such a hard time finding something I love its just become stressful so I keep putting it off.

How about...
Connor
Liam
Joshua
Oliver
Harvey
Ryan
Daniel

We were the same. Try calling your bump a name for a day, some will grow on you and some will be eliminated straight away. Thats how we have come up with our 3

I wanted a name that...

1. Sounded cute & would work for a baby, a child, & an adult equally well...
2. There wasn't any obvious references or negative associations that kid's would tease him about...
3. A name that is pronounced like it's spelled so it wouldn't always be misspronounced
4. A name that had a nice meaning

These were my main criteria!

Some suggestions --

Logan
Oliver
Justin
Caiden
Liam
Carson
Cameron
Julian
Gabriel
Evan
Tyler
Gavin

We went through a similar process. We knew we wanted George as a middle name after my grandad and its a family name, and we chose Ethan as a first name as it had a nice meaning (strength and endurance), we couldn't think of anyone bad called Ethan or anything bad that rhymed with it etc, it was easy to pronounce and spell.

We both love the name now and as soon as he was born it just so suited him (but man we had a lot of arguments along the way lol)!!!

We have the following names:

Spencer Scott (Spencer was my grandfather's middle name, and Scott is DH's name.)

2nd boy's name is Joshua. We haven't settled on a middle name. I love the names Spencer and Joshua equally, but as Spencer is linked to the family it will be used first (we only plan on 2 kids).

For a girl we have Caitlin Grace. We actually find girl's names much harder, but we love this one. We have Kimberley on the table as a second choice. (I'm hoping we won't need to come up with one though).

I personally like names that are not really common but are not so unusual that people can't either pronounce them, spell them or snigger when they hear them.

How about:

Jack
Joseph
Casey
Ross
