First of all,hello ladies. I hope you can offer me some advice or reassurance. Any feedback good or bad is appreciated as is your honest opinion.
Back in february this year I had a mmc (I had bleeding and had 2 early scans,1 @ 6 weeks,1 @ 8 weeks when I was told baby had died just after the 1st scan) and opted to have an ERPC. That was my only mmc to date. I already have 5 other children so it was with caution that I found myself pregnant again a few weeks back. I have to be honest and admit to feeling scared poopless as I've been bleeding. I've kept a timeline diary which I have put below for you to read.
Here goes:
22 June LMP on a 24 day cycle (Af lasts for 5/6 days)
15 July Af due
19 July Very faint + on a Tesco hpt (so faint it could only be seen by squinting & holding it up to the light). Not fmu.
20-23 July Bleeding,slight sickness,veiny breasts
24 July Slightly darker but still faint + Tesco hpt using fmu.
26 July Definate stronger + Tesco hpt. Not fmu.
28 July Very strong + Tesco hpt using fmu just 'to make sure' before I go to the drs that morning @ 10.30am to confirm pregnancy,also to talk through concerns regarding 3 day bleed,told to make another appointment 12 August & to do another hpt that same morning.
29 July Brown discharge.
1st August Dark red blood followed by brown discharge. Breasts tender & veiny.
2 August Discharge gone.
8 August Bleeding,light,no pain. Headachey.
9 August Still bleeding,bright red,some brown discharge,some tiny clots (the blink & you miss them sort),no pain. Phone drs,advised to do another test and to see them @ 10am. Clearblue hpt - although I think I caught sight of an extremely faint line but not 100% certain. Not using fmu. Breasts are still veiny but not tender. Dr says that unless a scan says otherwise I must assume I am still pregnant and am approx 7 weeks.
Scan arranged for tomorrow morning @ the EPU for 9am.
10 August Still bleeding,bright red. No pain. Emotional,scared witless and not hopeful. Breasts are still very veiny though but tender. They are quite warm to the touch. Also they feel 'softer' as up until a good few days ago they were quite 'hard' iykwim.
I have no idea what to think,I'm baffled as is the dr by the 3 day bleed and also because of the 4 Tesco that have been + but the Clearblue was -. The dr could'nt tell me if I was in the process of having a mc which is why she's arranged for a scan for tomorrow. I'm certain nothing will show up on the scan tomorrow.
Would it be blindingly obvious if I had already started the mc process as the bleeding is'nt that bad,no different to my normal af and I have absolutely no pain. I've had slight backache and been a tad gripey but nothing that's been unusual.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanking you all in advance
