My husband and I had been trying for a long time to conceive and recently gave up on the idea until my brother's wedding in Mexico is over. Somehow we accidently got pregnant and have major concerns about the Zika virus (hence the plan to wait). My Obstetrician has assured me that as we will be 20 weeks when over there we have nothing to worry about. Can anyone else confirm this advice?
It is the second pregnancy for us and the Doctor was absolutley perfect and thorough the first time around as I have previous health conditions that need to be monitored throughout pregnancy. I have a lot of faith and trust in him but have copped severe judgement from other people so now looking for some other opinions. I would never live it down if I don't show at his wedding and would feel awful but obviously the concerns for the health of baby are more serious.
