Recurrent Miscarriage Thread

Haven't posted in a while but thought I'd update quick.
I got a couple of shocking bfps yesterday AM and a few more today. My latest m/c was 4-5 weeks ago? and we weren't trying at all. Apparently though my body thinks it needs to get pg despite any and all odds so here I am-only 10-11dpo and the earliest I've ever had bfps. Usually I don't see a hint of a line until 12dpo and it's not until AF is due that I see visible lines so to see them at 9-10dpo is just unheard of for me. There's pretty much no change between yesterday and today though (if anything the line got lighter) so I'm getting bloods done in about an hour. Results should be in tomorrow. But I've got back cramps, this tightening sensation in my uterus, and watery brown discharge (never had it before either) so I'm nervous something isn't right. My biggest fears are my last m/c was actually a molar (no testing was done and I just tracked my hcg down with hpts so no bloods were done) and this isn't a new pg but old tissue growing or that it's ectopic. I'd actually be okay with it being a chemical if it's going to be a loss because that's relatively normal and I'm for some reason thinking the worst. No more Dr. Google appts for me that's for sure...And my bloods should show what's going on. So FX for me. I feel like I'm going to need it.

Just popped in to say I have my fingers crossed for you dairy - BIG hugs hun you will hopefully know soon :flower:

Me too. I have access to a webpage where I can get certain test results earlier but they haven't posted the number yet. So still waiting...:coffee:

So I found out today I actually have MTHFR. I am homozygous C677T. :/ starting methylfolate/b6/b12 regimen plus baby aspirin.

Anyone homozygous for c677t and not put on lovenox?

I have the hetero one that is the one most people have. I would think you would want to be on lovenox, did they check for elevated homocysteine levels?

Well here is what happened. I got a call last Friday saying I have high homocysteine levels. But when I picked up my labs, they said that about mthfr and there was a note from the specialty lab TO my OB saying to check my levels. Basically they told me they were high and didn't test for them! :/

I called today and they said they'd check them when I get a bfp. And that they don't put anyone on lovenox unless they have factor v Leiden or lupus anticoagulant and since I don't have those I don't need it. Even though all research I've done says homozygous c667t you need lovenox. They said I can take baby aspirin if I want to. I've been on it since last august and STILL miscarried at 12 weeks in January after hearing a heartbeat.

I tried two other doctors but one is booked through 9 months and the other isn't doing GYN, only OB and since I am not pregnant the receptionist can't make an appointment for me since it is considered GYN. .

I don't have any known clotting disorders or anything in general but I take Lovenox every day due to recurrent miscarriage. Every day while pregnant

Are there any fertility clinics that work with girls that have recurrent miscarriages? They would understand I think and help. I'm in MN

my high risk clinic is a fertility clinic. They are constantly pushing for me to do really expensive treatments though instead of working with me. I'm in Canada though so not much help either way.

The closest is 3 hrs away. My friend went there and was told the same thing I was but I think she was homozygous for the A variant. Which isn't related to clotting. I'm going to call next week or the week after if I can't get in to this new OB for a consult.

i don't even remember if i posted in here about my last loss. It was baby #5. We found out the heartbeat was gone again on Nov. 4 at 8+5. Just another devastation to the list. 20 days later my DH found out I had made an indiscretion back in August (not in person) and he decided right away to be done. So our holidays were not good. Worst ever actually. So no baby for me, losing my hubby and just moved out. Not sure where this puts me right now but I'm definitely a little lost puppy. So just wanted to pop in and say hi guys and best of luck with everything and I hope you get to move out of this forum and never come back! :hugs:

ttcbaby-I'm so sorry you had a rough end of your year. Hopefully this year is a brand new start for you. :hugs:

AFM-
I've had betas done at 12dpo, 14dpo, and 19dpo, and according to the doubling calculator I used, I'm doubling every 32 hours. It's unheard of for me to have such good rises this early and/or for this long so FX this is a sticky sticky bean! So for now, I'll head on over to the PARL thread but I'll keep popping in here to see how things are going for everyone else.

ttcbabyisom- sorry you are having such a crappy time, that is a lot to go through hopefully this year will be better :hugs:

Hi folks. Just wondered if anyone was being prescribed GCSF? Has anyone got a success story?

I belive it's known as neupogen or filgrastim if that helps?

Xx

The first article below has really promising results, the second was not, however I'm not sure if late embryo transfer meant they were getting it prior to conception rather than after?
