Recurrent Miscarriage Thread

thanks 4 that good girl-thats amazing news on the progesterone--have just been prescribed progesterone - cyclogest---dont think I will take it unless preggers now..xx

Hi girls after my sudden bleed at 5 weeks 3 days last week I will be going for my follow up scan today at 2:10 ,you may remember I thought it was all over but on the scan last tuesday they saw the gestational and yolk sac but couldnt locate the fetal pole. its been one hell of a long week!!
I have had very very little spotting now for days and only some very little cramping on and off which tailed off about 5 days ago.My boob discomfort died down again a few days ago, but it returned again yesterday, I just hope thats not one of mother natures sick practical jokes...
I am remaining positive but know how utterly devastated I will be if my little bean is gone..
I'll fill you all in later today.... xxxx

mandy, I know how hard the scans are but I have everything crossed that beany is snuggled in there and making a nice comfy home for the months ahead!

Thinking of you. Deep breaths ok!!!!!

I just had my 2nd early scan today at 10+3 and everything is fine and baby is healthy but every day over the past 2 weeks has dragged so slow.

Mandy, take it easy and try to be strong there. To make you feel better I believe you experienced some implantation bleed, that the doctors say it is normal. If the first US confirmed a Yolk sack that is a good news. (with my last pregnancy they could not find one and I new something was wrong) Maybe the doctors miscalculated your pregnancy, this happens many times and if they did so this mean it is to early to hear heart beat. I have read that some pregnancies start with a cardiac activity at 6 weeks.About your cramps, maybe it is your uterus expanding. I know know but I try to be positive here.
If I were you I would try not to stress. You are in my thoughts! Good luck today at the scan. Hope my suppositions to be true and your pregnancy to be fine. God be with you!

Mandy - Thinking of you, hope everything went well :flower::hugs:

Stardust - Great news about your scan :happydance:

Hope all goes well Mandy, have been thinking about you x

Hi everyone, everything is good I got to hear and see the heart beat..... I have never so far seen anything at all at any of my previous scans, a few tears were shed....
So I am measuring at 6 weeks 3 days, thats the furthest along ever so I am hoping that it continues in the right direction. Its either my thyroid medication or the asprin thats helping.., since these are the only new meds this time.
I hope you are all doing well., you have been amazing support to me so far.
stardust thats wonderful news!
All the waiting is a killer in this trying to have a baby, my head was done in waiting this past 7 days..
the epu are going to monitor me with weekly scans for the meantime, which is a huge relief.....
