Hi ladies, I hate jumping into new groups but here I am, officially a recurrent miscarrier...
My first pregnancy ended in an miscarriage at approximately 5 weeks, and I went on to have two uncomplicated pregnancies and births (though it took more than 2 years after the miscarriage to conceive again) and now I've had three losses in a row.
In November at 10+3 I learned the baby had stopped growing around 7+4 and I miscarried naturally that evening. I conceived again directly afterward and had a chemical pregnancy 3 days before Christmas (I'm counting it as a loss though I know some don't. Those 4 days still matter to me).
I conceived again my cycle that started in January. I knew I was pregnant for a week though the line was still very faint when I had a day of weird spotting I hoped was IB followed by a regular 3 day bleed (just a couple days after my period would have been due, right before Valentines day) and figured I'd had another chemical pregnancy. But 3 weeks later I had a full feeling in my uterus and POAS and got a strong line on 7 ICs and a FRER and then got a 3+ on a digi so I was confident the pregnancy was from the previous month.
Everything was progressing normally until 9 weeks I lost the few symptoms I had, especially the fullness in my uterus which most concerned me. I don't do ultrasounds in the first trimester so I just sat tight. But on Saturday I found a stray IC and was compelled to POAS and it came up negative. So did a FRER, and my las FRER diluted with water to test for hook effect. So yesterday I went for a blood test that came up negative, and today I had an ultrasound that revealed an empty uterus. I've not had any bleeding or cramping or anything, my body just seems to have reabsorbed the pregnancy without a trace
I have appointments next week with both a medical Dr and a naturopath to try to find out if there is an underlying problem or if its a string of bad luck, and to get myself as healthy as possible before I conceive again.
