My little one suffers quite badly with wind and colic in an evening especially and i hate seeing her in pain with it - she has periods during the day of being uncomforatble and windy but her worse time by far is in the evening from about 6 till 10. At the moment she is on SMA gold - is it worth trying a reduced lactose formula which is sup[posed to make them less windy? She is also very difficult to get burps out of - we have been on infacol before every feed for about 3 weeks which has helped a bit and also on doctor browns bottles.

please help! xxx

I switched to an easy digest formula, and it really helped my LO with his 'downstairs' wind. We also used infacol in the past, which helped bring up burps.

The other thing that helped a lot was giving him a little water - an ounce or two a day. Although he wasn't keen, it helped when we could get it in him!
