OK so Im 23 + 2, my baby has been very active and Ive been able to feel it move from about 14 weeks.

Yesterday I thought it wasnt moving very much and expressed my opinions to mum and OH who said maybe it was just having a lazy day give it time.

I had a bath and felt it moving at about 6pm last night but didnt feel it for the rest of the night and I had a couple of kicks at about 7.30am this morning but nothing since.

Am I just worrying over nothing?

im asking the same question, but im not as far gone as you,my flutters were very fast and furious the past two weeks, this week...nothing much,im wondering if they're going through a spurt but it makes me worry a little :( sharing your anxiety :hugs: xx

I wouldn't worry, you're not meant to count kicks until 28 weeks as it's still so easy for bubs to turn into a funny position and kick where you can't feel. Similarly I still have days where my girlie doesn't move much - think it's a growth spurt usually. We all have our lazy days and so do our LOs x that being said if you're worried then give MW a call x

I have the same worry - I'm getting closer to 28 weeks and thats when we need to start counting kicks and I worry I don't feel him all the time. Honestly, every night we lie in bed trying to get baby to move so that OH can feel him kick - haven't managed it once. I don't feel him very much and it does worry me but I have to believe that all is OK because I do feel him sometimes.

I had this over the weekend and was panicking - I barely felt it on Saturday or Sunday. Then on Monday and Tuesday I felt it loads, so I think it was just having a quiet couple of days.

I was feeling quite tired over the weekend so my mum said that maybe that had an effect, or a growth spurt maybe.

I wouldn't worry hun, you're still feeling movements it's most likely baby is in one of ths funny positions and kicking inwards so you can't feel it. If you do feel worried call your midwife i'm sure they will be happy to pop the doppler on the baby and check all is ok with the heartrate xx

Thanks for all your comments, I have felt a few hard kicks this afternoon which has put my mind at rest a bit.

hope all of you have a healthy remainder of your pregnancies!

I was having this last week, and if you search the threads there seem to be a lot of women who experience this slump between 24 and 27 weeks. Now the last 2 days I've been feeling bubs like crazy, I even saw my stomach move for the first time this weekend! If you're still feeling him some, I would just wait a few days, I bet it will be back to normal soon!

have a few sips of coke and you'll feel your baby kicking around like crazy

i wouldnt fret

my baby likes to beat me from the inside all at once (mostly after meals and before bed) and then goes into submission for a majority of the day

I have had this 4 the last few days then put my work trousers on this mornin and couldnt do them up! Ha ha! She must be havin a growth spurt! X

I had same problem last week and near about had a heart attack, so I know how scary it feels. I made an appt at my dr office the day after I wasn't feeling him move as much. The nurse told me most likely he moved to a horizontal position to where I couldn't feel the kicks or movements as well as normal. I was hooked up to a machine to listen to the heartbeat and they used some kind of vibrating thing they said would wake him up. Well, it worked VERY well. Within minutes he was moving all over and the Dr said he was a very happy and healthy baby who was just fine.

If you are worried there is NOTHING wrong with going to MW or Dr or whoever provides you care. It's so much better to go in a nothing be wrong then to not go and risk something being wrong. Give yourself peace of mind and just give your health provider a ring!

Hope this helps! :flower:

I was also told that if you are worried about this try to drink something sweet (some OJ might do) and lay down ;)
