Reiki - anyone had it or done a course?

Never had a treatment of reiki but always been interested in it, more so on the animal side of things.
I have found a place that does day courses and i am thinking of maybe doing it next year.

They do reiki 1 and 2 and also an animal healing day.

Some peope have said its a load of mumbojumbo and others have sworn by it... would be interested in anyones opinions.

Not me personally but my friends dog had it done and it was sooo relaxed, and it was normally a dog that was constantly hyper.

i swear by it i had it done to me yrs ago coz i had a bad bk i couldnt move at all after 2-3 1 hr sesh i was fit agane. after that i got in to it and have help a lot of ppl it helped me throw giving birth as well.
