Hi girls, sorry to bombard you but just wanted to ask if any of you had growth scans thru your pregnancy and how they went?! I've been having them 4 weekly due to problems with BP etc and every time they've said it'll even out by the next scan but now LO is getting even more above the chart This is what we were just over a week ago at 32 1/2 weeks?

Also did big babies run in your families? DF and his bro were both almost 10lb and his dad was 12.8 (all his uncle and aunts were between 10 and 12.8)!!!

^^ WOW! that looks like a big baby. Sorry hun my charts never got filled in. I am convince Ed was only as big as he was due to steroid shots I was given but then everyone said he was gonna be alot bigger even befor that

Myself and my siblings we big babies, i was 10lbs and next sister just under 10, bro 9.8, youngest sister was 12lbs though. Hence I don't believe the whole your first is always your biggest as obviously we went down and back up!
We only got 1 of those charts at about 20weeks, thats the only u/s i had, and yep he was looking big then!
You are just about off the chart there!!!

I thought mine was big at 8lb exactly, but I'm very much wrong!
I had a neat little bump apparently - they say that but they weren't carrying it! It felt very big to me!
The midwife guessed 8lb and my due date was July 8th. Both were spot on lol.
Well done to you mummys, thats all I can say!

I also thought my DS was big at 8lbs 8oz, head 40cms, length 51cms..lots of you have proved he wasnt that big..i do hope this one isnt much bigger though lol

Vici try not to worry. My youngest had similar with the abdomen and head and was above average for length on my growth scans, she was born weighing 6lb 13 and was a tiddly little thing.

Can I join up too please, my little man was 9lb 6.5oz, 57cm at 6 days early. I cetainly hope the next one isn't any bigger! My poor wee man got his shoulders stuck on the way out and we had a tense few moments when they hit all the alarms for doctors to come running but luckily managed to dislodge him before they arrived...

Thanks for your info ladies, I suppose its with me being 8lb at 2 1/2 weeks early, mum having twins at 6 1/2 weeks early who were 5.4lb and 5.7lb, DF and his bro both nearly 10lb and his dad 12.8lbs it kinda makes you think

I think I can join too... Edward was 9lbs 6oz and 22inches long. Today at the dr he weighed in at 18lbs 4oz and 27 inches
