Result! Kayleigh is going to be over the moon at Xmas!

We're really struggling for money this year, so have told Kayleigh that she can have a maximum of £100.

She decided months ago that she really wanted a new iPod nano, and we agreed she could have one at £109. Then a month ago, the poor kid dropped her phone and it smashed into about 20 pieces. So she then said she needed a new mobile and chose one for Xmas.

But every time an iPod ad comes on the tv, she groans at the screen. She really really wants one, and it's killing me as I would have loved to have got her both.

So, I'm just sat here about to order her new phone online from O2, and something dawned on me. I rang them, and as I'm on contract, I'm due for a free upgrade on my handset from the 9th December! And the phone they are offering me is 3 times better than the one Kayleigh chose!

I'm happy with my current handset and there's nothing wrong with it, so I'm going to call them again on Wednesday, upgrade, then give Kayleigh that handset and also order her the iPod!!

And I'm not going to tell her a thing!!
