Reuben

I love it. Thats more then likely what our LO will be if he is a he. Its between Reuban and Noah.

I have had a few people say they dont like it, and its a jewish name, but I dont think of it that way.

Also, ive never heard of a Reuben sandwich. lol

I love it, tried to get it on my list by associating it in Dh's head with Hurricane Carter Unfortunately my mil works with a Reuben who is a tad annoying and dh and mil both associate the name with him.

Love it, was top of our list if we were having a boy- personally much prefer that spelling to Ruben too. My only concerns were what to shorten it to, if anything (I imagine "roo" would be cute for a baby, but not so keen on "rube" or "ruby") and whether it would get too popular (think it was in top 100 in the last government list to be published, but around 88th?). Neither of those issues would put me off using it though- I think it is a brilliant name

LOL! It's not weird of you. I've never heard of a Reuben sandwich myself. Still not sure. DH really likes it but I'm trying to make up my mind about it. Thanks for all the input though. Keep it coming if anyone has any more thoughts xxxxx

I love the name, and it's one of our faves for boys. The only thing which puts us off is we are very into name meanings and it wouldn't be one which is relevant for us as we are not religious, but I truly love it. I love Rubes or Rube for short too.

It's my dad and brothers name so I like it. My grandmother spelled it Ruben though.
