Well i should hopefully be getting my rh geno type results today and im having another mca doppler scan.
Hoping for another rh neg baby as then she wont be effected by my rh disease and they might let me go a bit long before inducing her, im hoping to get to at least 38wks but i really dont want to be induced at all!

Really praying that she will be rh neg as my last little one was rh pos and was in icu for 3weeks which was the longest 3 weeks of our lives, thankfully my girls were rh neg and they were fine!

hun surely if you are RH neg then they just give you the Anti-D shot to prevent problems if baby is RH pos?
sorry you had to spend time in hospital last time with your baby i had to for ds1 too as he was affected by a bloodtype issue ( not RH factor ) between him and I, so it has to be watched for with all other babies but i know the signs now and we can get a blood draw from baby quite soon post birth to check for markers which would indicate problems and a need for treatment.

I have never had anti d so already have antid antibodies anti d is useless to me unfortunally.
If you google rh disease of the newborn you will find loads of info on it
Hope everything is ok with your little one this time round xx

Link to nhs site which has basic infor on rh disease xx

No after my first (this i s my 5th) i didnt get anti d as the nhs stopped giving it for a while due to saftey issues at the time
You will get one at 28wks and then agian within 72 hours of the birth if your baby is rh pos xx

thankfully hun im not fighting the rhesus Factor in my case because both OH and I are Rh+ the complications can arise if there is a placental bleed at any point in pregnancy and my body gets some of the babys blood and creates antigens to fight the antibodies i dont carry natrually due to blood type which can pass back to baby causing them to breakdown the babies blood at birth causing HDN which if not caught in time can caus serious problems.
thing is we dont know till baby is born and blood typed what the chances of it all having happend are so we have to watch closely for the HDN occuring, ds1 got off lightly without a blood transfusion but he was very very close if his blood markers had been any higher he would have but they treated it other ways instead
