The pioneering IVF Dr has passed away aged 87. It was his work that led to the birth of the very first 'test tube baby' Louise Brown, whose Mum was actually from my home town Bristol and I believe Louise still lives here.

I am currently pregnant with our miracle IVF baby and am so grateful to people like this who dedicate their lives to research and helping others when all other hope is lost. He well-deserved the Nobel Prize he won.

So from the bottom of my heart, God bless you Sir Bob and may you rest in peace x

Rip, you did so much for so many people xx

Yes, RIP Sir Robert Edwards, I too am pregnant with a miracle baby that simply wouldn't be possible without his pioneering work. I'll certainly be buying him a few drinks when I see him wherever he is in the distant distant future. X
