Road Trips at 25ish weeks and 28ish weeks--Am I NUTS?

My husband and I have a weekend anniversary trip planned for end of may. I'll be around 25-26 weeks with b/g twins by then and that trip will be around 6 hours.

The second trip that we're talking about going on is a couple weeks later, beginning of June...I'll be around 28ish weeks. And it is a LONGGGG drive...but, it is a trip that is completely paid for to somewhere we've never been.

I'm planning on asking my doctor and kind of waiting to see how I feel at that point. I'm not overly huge right now, even smaller than some of the singleton pregnant girls I see...but who knows what the future holds, so i'll be playing it mostly by ear. With that being said, am I nuts? Did any of you guys go on trips that far into your twin pregnancy?

I think I could have handled a 6 hour drive at 25 weeks. You'll need a few breaks to stretch your legs for sure. I did personally start feeling more uncomfortable around 28 weeks, but I would say it didn't get really bad for me till around 30 weeks.
