Second opinion.....please advise

Just got my ultrasound done.
Only saw my angel with no heartbeat.....doc says I'm 5 weeks 6 days....
It's killing me should I go to a different doctor.....
And if I go.....will my doctor find out that I went to a different doctor....

Totally normal. You generally wont see a heartbeat until after 6 weeks. Give it 2 weeks and have another scan.

The earliest u can possibly heart HB is 6.5 weeks. Usually it's 7 weeks though. I'm surprised ur doc didn't explain that to u.

As Misscalais said, it would be very surprising to hear a heartbeat that soon. Six weeks is the soonest that you could hear it but it's not very likely. I wouldn't worry too much. What's important is that the baby is there. You should see a heartbeat at your next appointment.

I booked a private scan for 7 weeks as I knew I probably wouldn't see or hear a heartbeat before then. Try not to worry, go for another scan in a couple of weeks if you want to be reassured but until then, try to relax x

My OB won't scan until 7 weeks minimum because of this very reason, your best bet is to relax for the next two weeks and then go back in for another scan, which I'm sure your OB will be willing to perform all things considered.
