Second Time Mommies to Be

I am 11 weeks according to my last ultrasound. My daughter will be just shy of 3 when this one is born. She is excited about the baby and tells anyone who makes eye contact with her mommy is pregnant.

HAHA... that is so cute! My son started petting my belly a couple weeks ago before I even know. Kinda weird. I'm sure its just a coincidence though!

Im 8not weeks with my second. My daughter will just turn 8 right before this one is born. She is already rubbing my belly and asking me if the baby can feel her. Kids are so sweet! She makes sure I buy enough veggies and fruit when we go shopping, because she wants her baby brother or sister to be healthy lol. She hardly let's me do housework, which is fine lol. She has started sweeping and washing counters for me at home. I pray that I can get through the first tri because it would really crush us all, especially her if something happened.

I got my bfp Sunday as well!

My son will be two in August and this LO should be due late October early November.:happydance:

That'll be a lovely age gap! That's what we wanted but unfortunately were TTC 10 months and had 2 mcs :(
Can't wait till I can put a ticker on... Only 3 more posts!
Lol

What will your age gap be?

Im so excited but its still so early im in slight shock! Haha

It will be 3 years give or take a couple of weeks or less!
Due date is 3rd Nov and my sons birthday is the 29th...

Hi ladies, this will be our 3rd babe, very very excited!!! There is 15 months between my first 2 and will be just over 3 years with this one and my daughter, I'm looking forward to having 2 older helpers :winkwink: my son is beyond excited! He has been asking for ages when I will have a baby in my tummy. My daughter can take it or leave it!

I seem to have come through the worst of the sickness thank goodness, just knackered all the time! But not surprising with 2 insane toddlers  Congratulations to you all xxx

Boy or girl?nub and scull shots of our baby when i was 11 weeks along...

Hi, I'm another who found out on Sunday. I think I'm about 4 weeks along, but haven't had a period since christmas so could be further. I did a test about four weeks ago which was negative. Who knows. I'm hoping I can have an early scan to find out.

Anyway, DS is an IVF/ICSI baby and only 7 months old. We are beyond shocked that I'm pregnant again as we have been told so many times that we had only about 1% of ever conceiving naturally due to DH's incredibly poor swimmers. Still can't quite believe it!

Wow congrats! It only takes one little swimmer!

Goodness, I am already exhausted. I asked myself the first time how I'd ever do it with another little one, and I'm still asking that question. This is gonna be a rough road! lol

Hey everybody just got my bfp yesterday and today. My little boy is 4 and I made a shirt for him to wear saying I'm a brother. He also had a basket of babyruths and baby bottle pops and my tests to give to my husband. It is just to wait for my firs appointment yay:happydance:

Wifey29 that's wonderful congrats!

Is anyone thinking about how their Los will react to a new baby yet? I was thinking I might buy Xander a doll and try to teach him to be gentle. I'm not sure he'll be old enough at 22 months to get it though :-/

I love the name Austin but dh says no. Aubrey is a contender though :)

That's a really good idea! William will only be 16 months when this baby arrives. I'm really nervous about how he'll react since it will be hard for him to understand that he has to share his mummy. I'm just going to make sure that I still spend plenty of one on one time with him and see if my mum can look after the baby while I take Will out for a bit. He'll still be going to nursery one day a week which I think will be good for him.

I think our LO will be ok, he will be nearly 3 by the time the baby gets here so he should understand a lot. He already sortof understands but he won't realise what's coming till it happens! :haha:
