Secondary Infertility... how many of us..??

I was wondering if anyone else had secondary infertility which is where you have had normal pregnancies before and are now having problems either conceiving or problems carrying to term.

I' have a healthy little boy who is 22 months. And I've just had 2 MMC in 4 months.

I'm wondering what advice others could give on any medications that I could take to help me carry to term if I'm lucky enough to fall pregnant again when we feel ready to start trying again.

I've been told baby aspirin could help?? And also should I ask to have anything checked?

I do't have this as I am struggling to get my first baby - had one MMC and waiting for confrmation of the 2nd MMC since xmas.

My friend has had 2 consecutive MMC's in 6 months last year after having her lovely little boy Jack with a completely uneventful pregnancy. She's not had any tests done or anything but in her mind she's wondering if she cannot carry girls or something.

I hope you find your answers darling and I hope that when you feel strong enough to try again that your next little bubs will be a very sticky healthy bubs! x x x x x

Hi hunni, im having both problems conceiving and holding onto them. Im into my 3rd year of trying but have lost 5 in that period and an ectopic.

I have had loads of tests most are normal however I do have a common blood clotting disorder which is treatable but when im pregnant

Im on Clomid to ensure I ovulate regularly but apart from that the only meds I am on are Pregnacare Conception (which has all the usual goodies in) and i take EPO to ovulation as it helps with CM when on Clomid.

I was advised against taking aspirin whilst TTC however I know loads of ladies have taken it whilst trying, I dont know why my specialist told me not to she just said it could interfere with my trying.

I don't have secondary infertility but I am having problems having a sticky bean. I had my first two easy conceptions only problem in pregnancy was pre eclampsia, then got pregnant with my third again easily but Honey was born sleeping at 36+6 due to medical negligence, the next pregnancy again I got pregnant easily had to have baby aspirin and clexane (otherwise known as heparin which is a daily blood thinning injection), she was born screaming. Now since July 08 I have had 5 miscarriages, recently had tests done (although they were all done when I was pregnant after Honey) and am awaiting my next appointment at the recurrent miscarriage clinic on the 4th May, currently not taking meds (apart from normal folic acid) so we shall see what they suggest.
