I have been taking Lupron shots and Estrace tablets, and just had an ultrasound this morning. The ET is scheduled for May 16th. We only have 2 frosties, so we are hoping they both survive the thaw. The closer I get to the ET, the more I am starting to panic.

I am actually afraid it might work. What is wrong with me? Shouldn't I be worried it won't work. I live in Charlotte and there was a big article in the paper that went national about a woman who had IVF, the doctor put two embryos back and they each split. She had quadruplets! I know the chances of that are minuscule, but that is all I am seeing here. My family and friends knows we are going through the FET and keep bringing up the article.

Is it normal to panic or does this mean I'm not ready to try again. We do have three children, a five year old and 3 year old twins. I am so afraid we will have another set of twins. I am 37, and the doctor strongly recommends we use both. He has given us odds of 30% of pregnancy and 10% of twins. We really can only afford this one go at it.

Plus I was diagnosed with cancer this time last year, but that is a whole other bag of worries.

Any one else secretly afraid it will work? I know I want another baby, but at the same time... I'm scared.

I think you are being completly normal. You already have 3 kids and your probably worried about ending up with 5! To me it sounds like you are a very strong person and that life has tested you already with twins and cancer, that I am sure you will be able to cope with what ever fate throws at you! Good Luck!

Yeah you're not alone. I'm having my IVF done at the end of May and I'm terrified. We've been TTC for 7 years and my oldest is 21! So I'm terrified and happy at the same time.
