Hi there,
Has anyone been in this situation? I am basically kicking my df out, I'm hoping that over a few months it might give him a rocket up his bum to get him to sort out his behaviour (long story I wont go in to), but what do I do about money in the meantime? I hope he will see sense and it will only be a few months apart but it could be permanent i just dont know.
I have 2 under 2 and am still on maternity coz my son is only 13 weeks old. I will still get mat pay (£138 a week) until February then hoping I can go back to work part time but cant afford the bills on that alone! Anyone know what I can do?
It says online that if its a temporary separation then I shouldnt claim benefits such as housing benefit but I dont know whether this is going to be temporary or not? Bottom line is he is leaving and I will be the only one my kids will be depending on financially (his behaviour is related to finances so I cant count on him giving us anything to help). And I cant afford child care for 2 kids in order to go back to work full time, even with child care vouchers as I dont earn a great deal of money.
Anyone know what help I can get/any advice?
TIA
