ooh, we have a memory foam bed and it's AMAZING!!!!! I love it!!!! it was our one big purchase for the flat when we got married and i wouldn't be without it, so i'm sure a memory foan topper would be great for you.
have you seen the full length pregnancy pillow, literally a giant pillow that goes from head to foot? that might help you achieve what you need?

Really, they're that good? In that case I think I will check out the mattress toppers ASAP. I have seen the giant pillows... I think trying the propping myself up with normal pillows thing should give me an idea if that's going to work or not and if it looks likely then I might get one. That would be cheaper than the mattress topper. Hmmmmm. Think I need to experiment until I find what works! I'll probably end up owning about 20 pillows by the time I'm done

Hey honeys, I'm ho-ome.
Had a m/w appt for the triple test and she was all perplexed because I am 18 weeks, not 16 (couldn't get appointment fortnight ago and last monday was bank hol) but then she confirmed 16-19 weeks is fine. Tbh I went to get a hb check between scans so she did this (started the 'don't worry if I don't find it' speech then found it in a heartbeat - pardon the pun)so that was a relief....it was train like, what does that mean???
Also, in 10thSept's post about memory foam I read it as 'memory from bed - AMAZING which amused me no end!!!
Sorry to hear about your dodgy hip firegal - guess thats one of those things about you being a 70's chick I am of course jesting, I had sciaica with my last one and I was dead young like............I'll quit ma rambling now and go and laugh my tush off at that pole dancing cow again!!!!
