OMG 10thSept...I'm the same way with the Chocolate milk. I want it SOOOOO bad, but it makes me SOOOOO sick. It's good to know others are craving the same things I am. My last pregnancy was grilled cheese sandwiches and beef sausage links. This pregnancy has been turkey and swiss sandwiches and sunny delight. Hopefully that means this one is a GIRL!!!

AND I haven't had the whole partner/name issue. I was so sure that my first little one was a girl...I knew without a shadow of a doubt it was a girl...that I said "Sure, why not?" when my husband suggested naming it Justin, Junior (my husband's name, of course) and calling him J.J. Low and behold, J.J. is now running around the house singing "Little Einstein's" at the top of his lungs. SOOOO...I get to name this one. And that's how it's going to be. No matter what! Even if hubby disapproves...I've got the name J.J. to hang over his head! And I'll use it as leverage.

I think I've nailed down all but the first name if it's a boy. Oh what the heck...I'll tell you all the names that I've thought of so you guys can think of all the silly things that other wee boys and girls might say to make fun of them and let me know if it's just "too easy" to make bad or mean words out of them...

BOY -- Ethan Mavrick (First name is still not nailed down.)

GIRL -- Courtney Veloria (Non-negotiable, Courtney is my grandfather's middle name and in 7 grandchildren, he's never had one named after him. Courtney was also his mother's maiden name. Veloria will be a 4th generation middle name.)

What do you guys think??

Morning girls, baby tots I love reading your posts!!

so you gonna tell us the name? we had probs with our names, we knew the girls first name with out a doubt but we had diagreements about middle name, then hubby one day just sat there and said the first name, then a random middle name then out last name and it sounded lush, it really rolled off the tounge, I said were the hell that come from, he said no idea it jsut came to me!! fair nough!
Boys name we have deicded first name again the middle name we are torn between 2, both are similar names but with different sounds hard to explain as we arent plannin on telling anyone till its born, I mentioned names on here once, but deleted before my sister saw!

I think the main things with names is to mke sure the initals dont spell anything, what makes me laugh, if we have a girl, and put my hubbys first letter with mine then the girls it spells fat! if its a boy mat!!!
Courtney Veloria is cool, never heard of veloria (not even sure how you pronnunce it!) but it looks beautiful!

Im really sure Im havein a boy but everyone who looks at my bump says girl!! I tried looking into that sweet/savoury thing but seeing as I crave curry followed by icecream or a fab lolly then hmm dont think it works for me! though fab lollys have to be top!

My mil must think Im mad, we are going for a family meal tonight (oh the joy!! ) and we are planning to stay the night as its down in truro and trains dont run after 9pm (I hate cornwall for public transport, they run into truro but not out!!)
and hubby texted her and said can you get in a load fab lollys please coz shes craving them, she didnt reply for a while, then he got a text with just....oooook then!!!

I should have had a drivin lesson this am, but instructor had to cancel so a bit gutted, the only other day he can do is wednesday at 1230 but I have my antenatel at 1pm Now tryin to work out if I can make antenatel later! I want me drivin lesson!

does anyone else still sleep on their belly? I keep waking up face down and its actually starting to hurt my tummy, but do I learn, noooo every morning back on me tummy, waking up acheing and doing it all over again the next day I tried the pillow trick, but hubby thinks its just me tryin to build a barrior so he cant try it on! anyhoo pillow always ends up on the floor so I give up!
I really do hope its baby, It defo wasnt gas (believe me Im a windy lady I know gas!!!! )

the boys name we have is lewis andrew and i liked paige at first for a girl then a week ago fell head over heels in love with jessica and now no name compares arrgggghh! i just know if she is a girl that is HER name i dont care what df thinks lmao! i even find myself calling my bump lewis/jessica and i must stop as realistically this is dfs child too and he should get a say but i love it so so much.

even got my eldest to say jessica (shes 3 in june) and she sounds so sweet saying it. oh its so unfair!

badunkadunk those names are gorgeous and i see no reason as to why they may get bullied at school for them. ethan and courtney are lovely names and would fit in nicely. i think its more out there names you have to be wary of. unless of course you are a celebrity and can call your children strange names and get away with it (apple and moses come to mind!) sorry if anyones chidlren are called that not that i dont like the names just feel sorry for those poor kids when they start school. x

Oh my goodness - I've not logged on for a while, and have had 2 cups of tea whilst catching upon the comings and goings.

Pleased to hear you are all doing well.

I think I felt first flutterings the other evening - is so hard to tell - I think it must be as I don't think I've had that feeling before.

The nausea is still hanging around - and - no, my sex drive has still not returned since going AWOL in around January! Poor, poor hubby! Although I did go through a phase of having naughty dreams - so hopefull it wil be making an appearance soon!

Baby tots - how exciting - not long before you find out if you are on team pink or blue. I'm still keen to get a private scan as I don't think I can hold out another 5 weeks of not knowing - but DH is very sensible and saying we should save our cash.

Caught up with some girl friends last night (all of whom have young children)and came away with 3 bags of maternity clothes and a big blow up ball thing (which apparently is very good to sit on later down the line)!?

I'm still in all my normal clothes - just some things are starting to get uncomfy.

Anyways - have a good weekend ladies!

what about jessica paige? I love jessica, but tbh I hate names that can be shortened! so the names we ahve are really short!!

for a boy we have Jacob Yeowart (thats pronounced Yow-urt and is my grandad's surname as he never had a son, we just fell in love with it.
and for a girl we hav Alyssa Noelle, which i just think is so pretty!
OH surname begins with G which is the name bub will take.

Veloria is pronounced: vee-LOR-ah. But I'm thinking of pronouncing it as: vee-LOR-ri-ah if Itty-Bitty is a girl. It was my grandmother's middle name (although she first saw her birth certificate about 15 years ago and found out that her middle name is spelled "Beloria" but because her mother was Native American her tribe pronounced the "B" as a "V" sound) and she passed it on to my mother (her oldest child) who in turn, passed it to me (the only child...or as I like to say, the LONELY child).

But throughout the years people have looked at my middle name and automatically said "vee-LOR-ri-ah" and I have to correct them. The spelling of the name does look as though it should be pronounced the way everyone else says it...but would that really take away from passing on the name? This is the only part of the girls name I'm a bit confused on.

Anyway...thoughts anyone?

i work in a night club, and was serving irn bru flavoured WKD's last night.... i wanted one, if there had been a way for me to remove the alcohol so i could drink it, i would have done!

Hi everyone! Glad to see this thread here in the 2nd trimester!

Been missing in action for a while as I was on holiday in Spain. It was fantastic but I was so, so frustrated not to be able to indulge on my favorite tapas ... arghh!!!!!!! But it's all for the health of the baby. I've got loads more pics in my blog in my signature.

I've also started having a tingling sensation in my legs ... like they're about to feel numb, but are actually not. I posted a thread about this and was wondering if anyone else has it. It's really, really weird. I have an appointment with my OB/GYN next week and I'll also ask him about it.

Oh, and we finally got our first baby items ... a bootie and mittens! Yay! Here's a pic:
