Hey bird24

I'm doing pregnancy yoga and loving it - can totally recommend it if you have a class near you :)

So how is everyone today.... I ended up having pizza for dinner last night and it was lovely but I felt a bit rubbish afterwards. I'm finding now that if I eat a lot I feel fine until about an hour or so afterwards and then I start feeling a bit sick! It's like my body just gives up on trying to digest the food if I have too much of it or something :hissy:

But it was worth it :)

i on the other hand had a humungus salad to make up for my earlier sins :muaha:

my fab hunt was not a success.... 5 shops and no fabs. had to settle for a bounty ice cream instead :( now, nobbly bobblys, they're in a league of their own (sorry for the blasphemy fab fans)... yummy!!! maybe i'll try find one later...

Hi Ladies
How you doing?
Hope you all enjoyed your dinners.
I can't believe I've been blamed for the pizza, that was all Sunshine_nic's doing!!!!
Did you get your fab in the end hun?
Had a pretty miserable evening, turns out things with my my mum got worse and we couldn't even be ciivl with each other in front of the rest of the family, she just upset me so much I spent half the night crying and the rest tossing and turning :-(
hubby keeps saying we need to talk to each other and I need to tell her why I'm so upset with her, but she knows, I did tell her, and she is just making it all worse - I tried being normal with her, but she was horrible back and I just can't take it :-(
why do mothers know just how to push our buttons??!!!
so now I feel crap today as I haven't slept properly anad have been dwelling on everything that's upsetting me or is stressful at the mo - argh!!!
anyway, sorry about the rant, hope everyone else is having a good day!
xx

hey 10thSept

sorry to hear about your mum :( parents can be soooo stressful! i've only got my dad left (mum died when i was 2) but i still feel at times he aggravates me enough for the both of them! they're a different generation.... try and let it wash if you can... :hugs:

no fab success (see my earlier post). have decided nobbly bobblys are the way forward :)

Oh 10thsept, poor you :(
Must be something in the air, I was talking to a good mate of mine just yesterday about why her mum drives her crazy.
It does sound like you guys need to talk... have you only told her what bothers you when you're already upset, if you know what I mean? It might help to have a separate conversation before she starts on the stuff that upsets you so that you're both calmer.. might help get the message across? Obviously though only you know the whole history and details and stuff.

Mothers really can get right under our skin.... I'm sure you'll get there with her eventually though, try not to dwell on it too much today if you can (easier said than done I know) :hugs:

Thanks gals, I know, I should be able to just let it go, but I just can't.
It all happened over email and she basically insuated something pretty terrible about me as a mother. It really hurt my feelings and I told her that she had insulted me and hurt my feelings a lot. We haven't spoken since properly and saw each other for the first time yesterday.
It's all so silly, I wish it would all just go away - does anyone else feel like anything annoying just upsets them 100 times as much at the moment?!
argh, it's made me get all upset now, gonna go to the gym and see if that helps me feel less crap!!
have a good morning xx

Ohhhhhhh..... right. So basically she really owes you an apology. Can someone else speak to her (a sibling maybe) and just make sure she knows how you feel? Or if you really want it to just go away you could just try to forget it. Last night was probably always going to be the hardest as it was the first time you saw her, so hopefully it will get a little easier each time from here on in.

Anyway, in the interests of letting you put it out of your mind I'll shut up now, unless you want to rant or anything of course :)

Hope you had a good gym session! And yay for yet another sunny day!!

Hi 10th Sept,
sorry you can't get along with you mum. :hugs:Life is stressful enough as it is without that to deal with as well...I avoid my mum until its necessary to speak to her and then its only in short bursts. Its not nice.

Morning everyone.:hi:
My OH felt the baby kick last night!!! I just got back from work and felt really sick and tired so I sat on the sofa with my hand resting on my belly and I felt a massive thud. :happydance: So I called him over to put his hand on my belly and he felt loads of little kicks. He said they felt like little heartbeats on my belly. I thought that he would be more impressed and overwhelmed than he was but he just smiled. He is the type of person that doesn't show his emotions much though which is frustrating but I know he cares. I'm hoping to feel them more and more.
:cloud9:

Oh that's cool Silas!!! I can't wait til my bub can be felt on the outside :)
