my due date was 29th aug, the scan said 6th sept - blake arrived on 28th aug, so i still think MY date was correct. the little monster now weighs 8lb 7oz!

Hello! I made it over here, too! i only just found out about this thread yesterday. I also have not been online much.

Today Lennox is 3 weeks old! Where has the time gone? I'll need to find my digital camera so I can upload a pic of him. I have been using disposable cameras lately. So that I can give a copy to my mil like I did when i had the twins.

How is everyone today?

Hi everyone!!! Congrats to all the Mummies!!! All those in labour or still waiting, hang in there, it won't be long now!

I had my beautiful little Lily Joy on 27th September I must apologise for my absence here of late, but I must thank you all for being such an amazing support to me throughout this pregnancy!

I should really keep more up to date with you all. I guess we all have loads of other stuff to do now!

Little Mia has been signed off from the MW after putting 10oz on in a week! eeek!

I just wanted to ask, is anyone else finding things a bit hard?? especially the non sleeping and being with the baby all day without any let up?
Mia is quite restless during the day so I find it difficult to get anything done she'll only sleep for about an hour at a time and doesn't like being left lying on her back she likes being sat upright.

how you all getting on girls...?

i find that mason doesnt like being in his moses basket long he prefers his vibrating bouncer chair or infact lying on his side next to me...but im not keen on him lying on his side in the basket?!?!

its weird he can go for 4hours or sometimes hardly anythin and wants on boob all the time, but i think thats just comfort thing?!

I'm finding it tough too Silas

Joe now won't settle much during the day and sleeps for only a very short time after each feed in the day and then cries. I feel like I'm a walking zombie from the lack of sleep too and spend alot of my time in tears When OH gets home from work, I'm in need of a little break, and feel absolutley terrible saying that about little Joe (and even worse as I write it here....) as he really is a good baby.

I'm sure we will get used to the new routines and lack of sleep. I hope so anyway as it's alot tougher than I thought.

Rochell - Tegan has that exact same infant to toddler rocker although the vibrations didn't soothe her a min ago when she was getting all farty, wanting more booby juice and falling asleep instead! you've not also got a Hauck pram have you??

firstalien - your baby will be here soon, i thought i'd have to wait the full 2 weeks over for Tegan, had a sweep on due date, plug came away Friday, nothing Saturday, thought bugger it! woke up Sunday morning at 5:50 with my first contraction, had her 9:23pm that night you'll be a mummy soon, and then you'll look down at your belly and go - that baby was in there? how did THAT fit??

Looks like Peabean has had Lily (according to her status on fb 7 mins ago)

This is the start of a girly spurt...unlucky lhamil hehehe or will Rees turn it around and have a boy?!?!?!?

well, my mum thought she was a boy because her little lady bits were so swollen they looked like ball bags! the midwife who i asked for help also thought she was a boy! (thought the umbilical cord was his willy! - and she's fully trained?? lol)

Rochell - OMG he was quick! and we have the same rocker, and our babies were both 7lb 5! (although Tegan has the edge over alfie at having an extra 3/4s of an ounce ) - and they were due the same day, amazing!

misswren - i hope that your little girl has decided to come today! although i've not yet checked facebook to see if you've popped or not! (and thanks for posting up about Tegan )

peabean - Tegan is waving at Lily she says she has a very cool birthdate

Silas, i was so weepy in hospital yesterday and last night when i got home, it's horrible, i hope you find your way to cope soon (it's so hard this mummy business!)

misswren - that seems scarier to me, knowing that whatever happens you'll be in hospital tomorrow!! but good luck!

anyhoo, here's a little piccie of Tegan Louise, born at 9:23pm sunday night, weighing 7lb 5 and 3/4 oz! pic was taken yesterday morning, have more but they're all on my camera and my auntie stuck this on facebook after i sent it to her, lol


gonna type up my birth story in the next few days, planned a homebirth, ended up in hospital with high blood pressure during my labour, only had gas and air, and one small tear no need for stitches - and i can pee just fine! (i'm shocked!

No news from me yet hun
Sunday was a good birthday day I reckons...I am biased as my first baba was 27th. My second was a Sunday!!

I am a bit crampy today though so maybe I will get my wish and either start tomorrow afternoon and just go in when contractions get 5 mins or will just be able to get a sweep and all....

my contractions were all over the place, one minute they were 15 mins apart, then 20, then 10, then suddenly they were all under 5 mins, lol - i was like - what the hell??

maybe she'll start overnight? or you'll wake up like i did at silly o'clock when it's still dark!
