Sigh. Still bleeding. Nothing heavy. No clots. 6w2d. Refuse to go for betas yet lol. If I’m still getting the same damn line in 2 more days without a substantial amount of blood I’ll call my RE and see if she scan me. If I’m going to get an u/s, I’d rather go to her than that free place that couldn’t locate my CERVIX last time, yk? I know these tests are sensitive and I know it takes time for hcg to drop back to non-pregnant levels but these seem to just be happy here. Ugh.

Question though: should I still be using the progesterone suppositories at night? I have been....but is that what’s prolonging the “gush?” Progesterone wouldnt cause my positives though, right?

As you can see these are from Saturday (started spotting) at top until this morning’s (wednesday) at bottom.

Just happy follower here :hi:

I am also on progesterone - it could be delaying the "gush" but it wouldn't be causing the positives. I think however it could possibly be slowing the process of the tests getting lighter? So I guess slowing a miscarriage if that's happening. I would guess that the lines would be darker or as dark as the test line at 6 wks 2 days, but ALSO every pregnancy is different and maybe it's the tests/slower HCG raise. I think if I were you I'd get betas or a scan, just to figure out what's going on with everything! With my current pregnancy - the tests were as dark as the control line at 4 wks. With my last miscarriage it took til almost 6 wks, and we miscarried at 6 wks 3 days.

Sending positive thoughts your way and hoping for the best!!

Im a very slow progesser i know that's not a word but should be for ttc haha i just went back over my threads from last time and i stressed for weeks because my line wasn't gettin as dark as ther control it finally did at 6 weeks 4 days then at a little over 7 weeks was darker than control but no blazing just a hint. I remember losing my mind watching everyone's lines but he's now 4 months old. I know that when you're in the moment you can't not stress but hopefully this will be at the back of your mind. There's deff still hope though my little guy is proof! Hang in there which i know is like impossible but I'm gonna say it anyway!!! Good luck sweet heart!

I never have luck with darkening cheapies. I didn't get a test line as dark as control until 7 weeks or so. Much ealier on frer though.

If it were me I would not stop progesterone until I knew for sure things were going south...or maybe not until talking to your obgyn. Or after a scan lol

Fx for you!!!

I'm 100% down for a scan at this point. The progesterone doesn't cause a rise or fall in hcg, only the baby does that.

I'd want an answer as to viability before I stopped the progesterone and inadvertently caused a miscarriage if the baby was just fine, kwim. One of my best friends thought she was miscarrying because she was bleeding and spotting and stopped the progesterone and when she went to get a scan the baby was just fine, but she ended up having a lot more bleeding until they were able to get the progesterone back under control. The placenta doesn't take over progesterone production from the corpus luteum until around or after after 8 weeks.

I understand you don't want to have the beta, but the scan would show you what's going on. Please get it before you stop the progesterone just to be safe.

How are your symptoms this time around? Thinking of you and sending you lots of love.

Girl ive been following up on this every time i can. Im very hopeful that with the no job situation and this baby that maybe God is giving you the time to enjoy pregnancy and pregnancy alone. You can focus on yourself. Im anxious for you to get your scan. I hope its only great news! Praying for you

Hey secret stalker here! Have you tried diluting your urine to see if the tests get darker? I'm 7 weeks pregnant and my tests have started to get significantly lighter now my HCG has reached higher levels unless I really dilute my pee? Pic attached was taken yesterday with undiluted pee.

I'm soo hoping this is the case for you and a scan will confirm bean has snuggled in nicely [-o<

I’ve tried it. Doesn’t do anything for my lines, unfortunately.

Great lines, still! And I don't think the progesterone delays a miscarriage if a miscarriage is going to happen. I had two while taking it and I didn't stop taking it until I was sure, so I started the heavy bleeding while still taking it. Also, can't the suppositories cause spotting or light bleeding? I think I've read that it can with some women who have a sensitive cervix. Wishing you the best and praying this one sticks!!

Those lines still look good to me, but I can't wait for you to get a scan. Have you scheduled it yet?

I would get a scan before stopping progesterone. If you are mc I wouldn't think lines would progress. I never used that brand of test, but I think your lines look good on IC. FX for you momma

I think your lines look great but I also think that a scan would be great right about now just to see what is causing the bleeding :hugs:

That’s why I’m waiting a couple more days. That way they can tell me to come in for an u/s instead of betas. Plus I’ll know more in a couple days time I’d think
