Of course I mean that in the nicest possible way.

But anyone want to share a picture or story of what keeps them sane during this whole yearning to be a mother? For me it's my pets, I wouldn't be able to cope without all my furbabies....And for my DH it's his garden (aswell as furbabies) - he just loves plotting about in his garden, he's so proud. I will have to get some pics. It's a vegie garden.

I don't have pets as we're not allowed any where we live so I find I keep sane by doing all the things I know I won't be able to do as much when we have children such as going to cinema, out for dinner, buying what I want when I what and so on! Helps keep me happy anyway! Would love a furbaby though, maybe one day.

He is yes a sharpei.. he has alot of wrinkles and i love him to pieces... he always comes and cuddles with all his rolls... he keeps me sane...

And my baby girl storm but she sadly passed away on valentines day... so looking for another sharpei female for my boy.... *puppies* !!!!!!!!

I keep asking for a boxer puppy but im not allowed, we have to have a baby first. so I have to say a few bottles of wine at the weekend and the odd night out keeps me happy!
Planning on having a holiday this year which I keep saying will be our last, and then we need to get saving for ICSI which I hope will happen this year if I dont fall pregnant soon.

We run a mousery. Basically we breed and rescue fancy mice, the type you get as pets (not disease carriers!) That really helps to keep me sane. We cant have any bigger pets in the flat as we have a communal garden, so mice it is

Keeping with the aussie tradition, I have 3 budgies. There so cute, but my inlaws treat them like grandchildren. I think they need them more than we do

Awww, everyone has such cute little furbabies!

This is mine. Called Starsky! Possibily the most spoilt (but most loved) bunny in the history of the world. Not great photos but all I could find for the moment. The first one is a bunny advent calender with bunny treats inside. You would have to see him to believe how excited he gets when he sees it. The second was one of his Christmas presents. (He has the most!!!)

these are my babies! Frankie is on the left my long haired fluff and Safiya my short haired devil child!

Iv had frankie 2 and half years, he was brought for me ready for when my hubby left for afghan, he was 8 weeks old and hes my rock. proper mummys boy!

Safiya aka saffy iv had nearly a year! shes evil, a propper stroppy bad behaved b!tch but i love her! such a charicter always wants attention and a propper tart when people come to the house!

Aw guys, they are all so cute!! How tiny are those little mice!, although with 3 cats, I dare not even try!!
I have two Siamese Fighting fish too, Edward and Jacob...my cats love to sit close and watch them swim around. lol

I love Maine Coons, we tossed up when choosing Nikita because I also wanted a Maine Coon! lol, I know some fantastic breeders in Australia. I'm still tempted, but Hubby is putting his foot down on 4 cats lol!!!

We used to have mice, they were soooo cute! We saw one who was really scruffy just dangling over a hook holding a rope for climbing and had to have her then realised there were 2 others in the cage so we couldn't take just one and ended up with all 3!!! Now have 2 kittycats and 2 bunnies - I'll try and post pics some other time as they're not on this comp - moggies are crazy though!!!!

I dont have any pets (i dont really class my fish as pets, they tend to ignore me unless they want fed) lol Although this is my saving grace. My car It keeps me sane when I`m in a bad mood I can just disappear and clear the twist outta me lol

Neyney - I thoroughly recommend Maine Coons - they are FAB .... although very similar to Rag Dolls in temperament, laid back, relaxed etc
I had a Bengal a few years ago and he was great too .. a real cheeky monster but as faithful as they come. sadly he want missing and was never found

Mrs T - they are lovely, mine was border/lakeland X and my best buddy. So much attitude in such a small body ...
