Shocked!!!!!

Hi there everyone

Despite my username being just40and ttc,I'm now 42!!!!

I did ttc for but nothing came of it.

I split up with my other half 18 months ago officially but we're still the best of friends, love him to bits and we have the very occasional dalliance lol

The last time was valentines night

When we were ttc, he had sperm analysis and was told there's quantity not quality so we gave up

My period was due last Thursday and it never arrived and on Monday I tested purely because my daughter said my boobs had grown so I thought I'd rule it out

That, and 9 others since, have me a BFP

IM REALLY SHOCKED and scared actually

My youngest is 11 this year and my others will be 18,16,14,13 (all girls)

I'd really like to hear from other ladies with any advice and success stories

I got pregnant with my LO at 43, and had him at 44 - he's now 2 and I am 46 -- he's healthy, happy and very crazy. In fact, my pregnancy was very routine until weeks 34+, when I developed pre-eclampsia, but I had no gestational diabetes, no other issues, etc., and LO was 6lbs 11oz at 36wks, so very big and healthy.

Just take it one day at a time!
