Shooting pains

Is anyone else experiencing shooting/sharp pains in the groin area?

It mainly happens to me when I'm stood up or walking. What can this be?

I don't ever remember experiencing anything like this with my first pregnancy

I get shooting pains going up my doodah!! Lol. But I do get cramp in my groin and upper thigh, makes me limp and always happens when I'm on the school run! The looks I get lol! I reckon it's just the way the baby is Laying on nerves. I've got Spd also so walking for me is horrible as it is!

im experiencing the same thing , tingling feeling in my hooha .
i dont know what this is and i never had it with DD 1.
im actually getting painful contractions every now and then but they always subside .

Google 'lightening crotch'... I got this quite a lot from around 34-38 weeks. It's horrible.

As a funny side note, when I was googling I saw a woman on another forum had cAllee it 'fanny daggers' Pretty vile but such a fitting description hahahaha

I get this a lot, and try to encourage it in fact. My MW says it's baby's head putting pressure on your cervix as they get lower. I guess it can only help!
