I agree i dont think "well they have a child involved" is an excuse!!

Personally id never want my child to know when they grew up & understood that mummy had repeatedly disrespcted herself & gone back to her/his lying, untrusting daddy!!

its not a family model id want my child growing up to think is "right".....xxx

However, I personally think that if a married person can coldly and calculatingly paying for sex while his pregnant wife is blissfully unaware then he thinks very little of her or the marriage and I'd be showing him the door this time if I knew it to be true. She seems a nice enough, pretty young girl who has made something of the opportunities being a WAG has presented to her and she could do better than a cheating toerag for a husband.

I agree with you. What a shame, these pair have basically grown up together but he has clearly not grown up, he has been seduced by lady money and has fallen into the Pleasure Island trap that a lot of today's footballers have fallen into - with their VIP party lifestyles and of course, the slutty and fame greedy girls who come with that lifestyle.
I see him as a very selfish and misguided young man, who will surely regret his actions deep down but no doubt as he has already shown that foolishly he thinks that it is cooler to have a public lack of remorse to save face.

I never said it was an excuse, I said it makes the situation not so black and white when children are involved. I don't think she should stand by him personally, if it was just the two of them then I would think she was a fool for staying but since it's not and there is a 3rd involved I probably wouldn't judge her so harshly for staying

Atleast coleen has the excuse that they were together before he ever became famous.
Although obviously now its a different story as you're right, the money is everything to them. And crouch saying that just sums it up to me.

I have respect for gerard i think he is a decent working class lad that actually hasnt lost his attitude for hard work. I personally dont care what they get up to in their private lives, its a shame so many of them are complete dicks on the pitch, they arent like the good old fashioned footballers most of them are completely full of themselves.

Stanley mathews was 10 times the player of all of them and he was a decent bloke aswell.

My hubbie is an ardent Liverpool fan and he has heard (and believes) that Stevie G is one of the other footballers with a super injuction. He says the rhumor is that it was one of the problems at the world cup as he had got away with it while Ashley Cole and whats-his-name (Terry?) hadn't and they were bitter and resentful to him.

Don't ask me where he got all this from - but he loves/loved Gerard so much he always used to joke that our son was going to be called Stevie in his honour - now he thinks a lot less of him.

I totally feel for poor Colleen. She must be devestated. A friend of mine heard rhumors her OH was cheating on her and she asked me what i'd do and i said i couldn't stay with someone who cheated on me. She replied that it is completely different when kids are involved as there is so much more to consider. She stood by him, he denied it all and they seem to be ok now (but none of us trust him!).

Colleen and Wayne are still so young (aren't they?), it is such a mess and all his fault. I hope she does what is right for her in the long run. I imagine that she will leave him.

Urgh no. So many celebs have such a narcissistic attitude to relationships, I wonder why they even bother tying themselves down in the first place.
