Should i be concerned...

Hi everyone. I just have a quick question and its one i probably should have asked yesterday. Im 37 weeks today and my baby girl usually moves around alot. like at least 15 periods of movement a day. Between yesterday and today however she seems to be moving less. Maybe 5-8 periods of movement and they are all very small movements. I have an at home fetal heart monitor and her heart beat is still around 140. Should i be concerned even if her heart rate is normal?

give triage a call, they'll probably ask you to come in so they can do a monitor & it'll put your mind at rest.

I don't want to tell you not to be concerned or seek medical attention, but from my own experience my little guy has one or two 'quiet days' a week since hitting 36 wks. Other days he's quite active then like today he's really quiet. I've gotten used to it and know he's doing fine so I try not to worry.

Call the midwife for some reassurance, they prefer you to call and nothing be wrong than you to worry about bothering them with stuff that doesnt matter and something be wrong xxx
