Last week I started working at home for a company that calls business/restaurants to see if they want their business listed on the companies website for $15/year (really good deal!) while at the same time helping out a charity.
I wasn't very good at all. I'm not a good sales person, lol. But it was working from home so I stuck with it.
Today my boss contacted me and asked me if I wanted to try a different program he's been working on. Basically, all I would have to do is contact pharmacies to see if they are willing to to set out some prescription discount cards for free. The discounts are free, all of it is.
But...in order to do it, I would need to pay $40/month to have my own website where people can just visit to website, print their own discount card off, and use it at the pharmacy.
The boss says there is awesome potential in this. Especially now as money is tight for a LOT of people and saving money on their prescriptions could mean the difference of food or not for the week.
Money is especially tight for me right now. I had to pawn my $400 camera (for $60...pfft) in order to have gas to apply for jobs a few weeks ago! So, obviously...I don't have extra money.
Do you think it would be worth it to invest the $40 in something that could potentially have me making thousands in about a month? I can get people from all over the US to use these cards (insurance or not)....so as long as I put the time & effort into doing this...I could be making a great income in a short time. I'd me making $.50 for every prescription and I have a lot of relatives who have like 5+ prescriptions to fill each month. So, if I could get 12,000 people to use the card in a month...I could make $6,000 that month.
Worth the $40 that I don't really have right now? Lol.
eta: I'd be doing all my work from home, by the way. Something I desperately need to do.
