should i pay to have this altered?

So I got this dress from Urban Outfitters over a month ago online (lost the receipt so don't think I can return it) but my mum is insisting it looks ridiculous on me and that I should have it altered. What do you guys reckon? Please be honest! I think it looks ok except for the armholes...

Armholes definitely, but the rest is fine. It depends what look you're going for...sometimes a bit baggy, especially with tights, looks really classy. I like it for a change. We can't always go with figure-hugging!

The only thing that looks like it needs altering is the armholes.

I reckon the only issue with it is the armholes. I love how the dress hangs, and how easily it could go from a day to a night dress.

If you're mum is generally quite a good judge though, she may be able to see something we can't.

I actually quite like the armholes being so baggy. Makes it different and I've seen a lot of people with that style round were I live but t shirts.
