Right now, maisie takes between 2 and 3 oz, most times she takes 3.

I've noticed that sometimes she'll take the 3 oz, the half hour/45 mins later she'll want more and will have an oz of a next bottle.

She doesnt swig the 3oz off and shes never wanting more straight after, its always half hour later or so?

i thought u up their oz when theyre swigging off their bottle and wanting more straight after,, so i havnt done it yet but now im not sure?

not sure hun, if they drain the bottle then you up the oz, but it might be that her tum's so small still it cant hold too much xx

If she drains the bottle go up an ounce, she doesn't necessarily have to eat it all but it's there if she wants it. Plus it's better for them to leave a bit than drain all their bottles because of wind

when zane was like this i went from 3 oz to 4 oz and he took to drinking the whole 4oz straight away. u can always try it wont hurt her just uses a scoop of powder which isnt the end of the world :)

wouldnt hurt to up an ounce and see, i'd say shes working on stretching her stomach as it sounds like she wants the extra ounce but needs to wait a while to find the room for it x

Well i changed to 4oz yesterday to see if that would do anything but nope! She'll only take 3 oz most from the bottle, then half an hour or so later she wants another oz!

she probs is just stretching her tum hun, i bet give it a couple of weeks she'll be on 4oz!

I'd still make them up to 4oz and offer it, if it's wasted its wasted but you have the piece of mind of knowing that she is full

Don't forget, it can take them a good hour or so to finish the bottle.. Not sure what formula you're using but with Cow & Gate, it's ok for 2hrs so maybe just offer her the rest of the bottle when she wants more?

Yeah it does take a while sometimes, but we know when shes finished because she pushes the bottle out and starts pulling faces lol.

We're on aptamil which can be used for up 2 an hour after its made x
