Should the line get darker each day?

I've been testing since Sunday. I SHOULD be ovulating this Friday. There was such a faint line Sunday, I thought it might have even been an evap. They've gotten darker, but not much at all. It's still extremely faint today. Is this normal? Could I have a faint line today and a positive tomorrow? Or should it be getting gradually darker? Like I said, today's line is darker but I still really have to squint to see it. I'm so scared. I'm waiting on a bunch of tests from the doc. She thinks I have PCOS. I'm so scared I'm not ovulating at all.

Hey hun,most women go straight from a very obvious neg like urs to an instant pos so this is fine and I too am waiting for tests for pcos and been using opks because they will pretty much b positive all the time becoz ur lh is elevated with pcos so I don't think u need to worry there either xx

Thanks! That's good to know about the LH. I guess if I've been getting negatives, maybe I don't have PCOS afterall.
