This evening, I'll have to post a picture of Leo in his costume. Violet hardly wore hers. We went trick-or-treated at some shops in the next town over, but not very many because my husband and I feel like that type of "trick-or-treating" sort of ruins Halloween. After we went home and had dinner, we were going to go trick-or-treating in our neighborhood, but Violet opted not to so that she wouldn't have to wear her costume. I think she's the only kid who would turn down trick-or-treating in order to avoid wearing a costume. Leo, however, really did enjoy his costume! I think next year we'll put our focus on other Halloween activities with Violet and plan on taking Leo trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. Perhaps Violet will join, but if the last 3 Halloweens are any indicator, the costume will be an issue again...
