Didn't realise how tiny and squishy my DD was looking back, ahhh! This year we're in a new house with loads more space (old house was teeny tiny!). So excited for the decs
I've got a black 6ft tree that is covered in purple, white and silver decorations. I call it hubby's 'Bahumbug Tree' due to him not being a Christmas fan given he lost his grandfather a week before Christmas the year before we got together. But I love the effect of silver and white against the black and for hubby to agree, I HAD to promise him I'd use his favorite color on the tree - which is purple. Going for a black 8ft next year if I have any spare cash after this baby is born. Will need to replace our decorations and add more purple and white LED lights too. I have Christmas OCD according to a friend as the tree goes up the week after my Birthday in Nov (don't get me started on how tidy wrapped presents and color co-ordination must be) so if I get a bigger tree, I need more decorations and lights even though I have too many now apparently.
The Christmas is kicking off in me now. If I could put my tree up and get away with it I would. And you all have amazing and beautiful trees!!
There is a seller on eBay who trades under the name Amazing Christmas. He's got some stunning trees!! I hope to get a full 8ft tree in black next year and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE his range!! My current tree I've had 6 years and it's getting kind of old and manky. Would depend on where in the world you are though because he can get expensive. For me, the one I have my eye on is a very dense 8ft tree with 2,200 tips. To buy the tree, have it shipped to me in NZ from Australia, NZ freight charges and a Custom Fee on it, I'm looking around $500 which is a damn sight cheaper than the $1,500 I would normally expect to pay if I went into Farmers here in NZ as they seem to be the only place that stocks such large and dense trees.
Pics aren't great as my camera on my phone was broken last year and I had to use dh's rubbish one :haha :

That's our main tree, we put it there to keep our puppy who was only 6 months old away from it.

And the little one we had on a table in the living room.
The boys also had trees on their room but I can't seem to find those pictures
