Yesterday's buys. I went to a bare minerals launch event and got an amazing goodie bag with purchase so picked up some Christmas gifts. The lipgloss set is to me from me and the other two will be stocking filler gifts for MIL and SIL. Picked up the candy cane lane as a gift for a friend. Got the box of chocolates with one of my beauty box subscriptions that came this morning, the box of chocolates is £23 to buy!!! So they'll go up as a present for someone too

i have been looking for a Guess who game for the kids for ages, but i never liked the new design, so i was pretty chuffed to see the retro guess who game today in target, so picked it up as a joint pressie.

Made a start this week in the sales, have a big Lego Star Wars trooper carrier and sw Lego series books I got from Costco a few months back stashed away as well. Im hoping there's an Argos three for two again to get the minecraft Lego sets he has his heart on! I'm so behind this year.

Dd has some books and a doll crib stashed as well, the rosebud house with everything including Christmas set I got last year for £60 and it's like new so think she'll love that. Will try to get the bus and school if there's another sale but that's her main present this year. Shes doll and pony mad.

Has anyone actually used that crazy sand? Rio has asked for it on several occasions but the thought of the mess makes me shiver!

We have something similar to crazy sand, can't remember which brand but they're all made from the same stuff. I find it does make a bit of mess but unlike playdoh they don't stick to fabrics/surfaces so if you roll a ball of sand over the mess it all cleans up easily.

We have kinetic sand... and it doe sget everywhere but is so easy to wipe up and put back. It always goes all over my carpet but a quick hoover does the job easily!

Agree with the others kinetic sand is easily cleared up, absolutely nothing like real sand it's so soft. I'm hoping crazy sand is similar, my mum friends say its pretty much the same.
