Show us your sofa?

So we need a new settee. But after 5 visits to dfs, furniture village, scs and Harvey's we can't find one we love! Well we have found one but it has removable cushions which is something we didn't want. It's this one https://www.scs.co.uk/product/leather-sofas/darcy-3-seater-sofa/

We currently have this one with the chair and footstool and it's soooo comfy! https://www.dfs.co.uk/sofas/leather-sofas/zione/3-seater-sofa/ but it's starting to look old now and the cushions are sagging but we can't find one we like as much as this. We have even considered buying the same one but in a different colour!

We are going to visit csl some time soon but it's a bit of a drive so any suggestions on other places to look and care to show us ya sofa???

I LOVE the Laura Ashley sofas! I'd love a nice feminine house with lots of chintz and shabby chic but OH wont have it he says he has to live with 4 females so the least we can.do.is have a neutral house for his sake :growl:

You can get most of the Laura Ashley sofas in soooo many different fabrics...we have the Mortimers in a traditional pattern to complement our wall paper, but you could get them in plain, neutral colours?

I can say they look and feel fabulous and comfortable!

I think there is a 30% event at the moment, but there will no doubt be another 50% event soon...so big savings to be had!

The Laura Ashley sofas are gorgeous.

We have the 3 seater, 1 seater and stool/pouffe in mink and its looooovely and comfy.

Due to there huge presence in our living room, we have purposely picked decor colours that accomodate them, but to be honest, mink is very neutral and works well with most colour schemes, im quite glad we picked them over cream as id originally wanted

I love Ikea sofas! I love ikea tho lol. OH is just worried about if they have an insurance thingy? Like if the kids damaged it is it covered?

Lellow we have sat on that sofa a few times! It is reeeeally comfy!!! They only have it in cream in the shop and bit scared to order it in a dark colour incase it's not as nice. It wouldn't be so bad if it was just a shade darker or lighter and there no way in a million years we could have a light coloured sofa with my scruffy lot It is on our short list tho!

We can't have a corner group due to the lay out of our living room. It's a knock through with a curved bay window. I love corner groups aswell

We are a bit fussy

I recommend Nabru you make your own sofa, choose material, colours, shape size of seat foam density, its all removable. And really good priced.

I didn't even think of next love your mrs venn! I wonder if any of their bigger stores have sofas! We like to have a lounge on them first lol. We sat on Lellows one for about 30 minutes in DFS on Monday

I think we are going back to have another look at Lellows this weekend!

Mink was the colour they had instore and i really fell for it, the colour was not one id have picked had i not seen it instore.

But you can ask them for a different colour, it just may take a little longer for it to arrive.

Comfortability factor - Id rate it 10/10 ... We LOVE it!

Everyone who got theirs from DFS how long did you have to wait for delivery? I think with our last one it was about 2 months and they have said 12 weeks this time! I can't wait that long!
