Shows before Labour - A question

do you always have a show before going into labour?

Sorry, I just dont know as DD was induced. But I have had no shows or anything like that, but today, I keep getting pains that I can almost describe as a period type pain (you know the sort that almost feel like your appendix)?? and tightness in my bump and then they go, I have had limited movement today and bad back pain (but this is normal). The paids also keep shotting slightly down the tops of my legs.

I have had bad BHs for about 10 weeks now but these do feel different to anything I have experienced. I have not timed anything as they have been irregular since about 10 this morning but I am aware of them being there.

I am not saying I am going into labour, help please what does the early stages of labour feel like and what about a show

Out of the 4 I have had so far, I have only had 2 shows, so you dont get one every time....Early labour for me started off feeling like period pains sometimes the odd tightening in my belly too.....Keep an eye on the pains......
