I get what you're saying, but I'm still waiting until 12 weeks to announce it - not because anyone has told me to. But because I want to. I think it's a very personal choice and you should tell who you feel comfortable with telling! We still told our immediate families, because I will value their support if the worst is to happen.

It's just that the rate of miscarriage is much lower after 12-13 weeks. Much lower. That's the only reason most people wait. I think it's great if you feel comfortable telling people sooner! I wish I could feel comfortable
