I had my anomoly scan today and everything was perfect with the baby, I was overjoyed.
But I then mentioned to my doctor that one of my breasts was slightly pink, thinking she'd just say it was another annoying pregnancy symptom.
For years one of my breasts has been slightly larger than the other - this is normal for me. But she looked at them and decided to send me for an ultrasound.
I've been googling and redness in one breast is a symptom of inflamatory breast cancer. Obviously I now think that I have this.
I should be overjoyed that my baby is doing well, but all I can think about is what if I have cancer and am not around to see him grow up.
Am I being stupid? The ultrasound is not until next Saturday so I'm going to be worrying myself sick for a week.
