Thats the one. Really like it, but big concerns that it doesnt have a carrycot and that the car seat isnt isofix. any thoughts ???

It say's it's only compatible with the Silvercross Ventura Car seat. Im not overally keen on the entire look of it but then thats all a matter of personal opinion. I bought my three way travel system for £45 more than that as well so im not sure if its worth the price

There is a carrycot for the Surf but it's not part of the package, it's an optional extra. I think you just get the newborn seatpad nest as part of the package. It's very new though. I was looking at it on their website but they've not even released the price yet - probably why you're having trouble getting reviews.

The car seat that goes with the surf I think is the Ventura? We bought one (to match our pram system) but to be honest i'm not impressed with the ventura as there's not even a base to secure it in the car.

Yes i think I am more worried about the car seat rather than the carry cot. Thanks for your advice, I think I will need to see how easy it is to fit the car seat without isofix ... but I'm not that keen

i had a silver cross 3d jet sport and a silver cross classic before that. The 3d was brill but it also had the ventura car seat with it and tbh i dont really like it all that much...it is impossible to get strapped into the car and when u finally do it is a little bit wobbly. Having said that i have used it plenty of times and my daughter has been very safe and secure in it. I recently sold my silver cross 3d pram as i bought a phil and teds sport to accommodate my 15mo dd2 and the new baba when she comes. xxx

its a really funny shaped pram init , if u had that people would defo look at it as u passed it is eye catching. not sure if its something i would personaly go for but i think its a nice pram

Yes that it is .... but I just think the cons outweigh the pram itself .... the car seat, the basket size and the carrycot (although you can get an extra one with this)

thanks all for your help !

I went to see this pram yesterday and as of Sept it will be compatible with the Maxi Cosi. Maybe before then but the shop I was in said that's the date they've given. Hope this helps.

....Oh, there is also suppose to be a new basket you can get to add onto the bottom. Not sure of date for that one coming out but I think they have been listening to what people have said about it and modofications are starting already.....

Oo ive purchased this pram, arriving soon guys..

I was in love with the icandy peach/apple and the quinny buzz….but after seeing all 3 prams togther and weighing up the pros and cons..the silver cross came top

The only downside to the surf for me is the lack of shopping basket but I have had confirmation that they are defo bringing out a basket much bigger that you can retro fit to this one retailing £19.99 I think….so that problem sorted…

The newborn special padding is just awesome …really comfy and sturdy and perfect…the extra bonus is the hood is silent…no clicking sounds as you open & close…also it’s a pretty large hood ..the quinny is pretty naff in the hood department…

The surf overall is lighter to carry and push- I put the pram alongside the other two and the surf is smaller and easier to wheel around narrow spaces…again another perk….

I really couldn’t see any fault …it seems to be as pretty and modern as them all yet much more for your money (the cover, newborn padding, rain cover, mosquito net, and umbrella all come in the price…all you have you do is choose the colour!

Mines arriving tomz so id be happy to take pics for any of you and do a little pros and cons list…breakdown etc…

I loved the icandy & quinny but they are much much more heavier and bulkier to lug around..this one just fits the bill yet still offers plenty of growing space for the child…

I cant wait to get me mitts on it!

oo another bonus on the surf...the back wheels unclip also for even more space in the car!!!

How did you get on with this pram?
We have ordered it and love it!
We did want an isofix but once the woman showed us how to strap it in it seemed easy and the hand goes against the seat which made it reall sturdy! Apparently they might be bringing a base out at a later date?
Also she said another month or too and there will be a bigger shopping bag for underneath?

Ooo this pram is lovely, I am so pleased with it….ill upload a pic when my pc decides to work….

Its light weight, the buttons are a little stiff at first but at least its secure…the newborn nest padding is just devine…and the water proof cover is amazing…

As prams go this one I have no doubt will last a good 2yrs before maybe I would want a tiny buggy but to be honest I don’t even think id need to purchase one..there is two layers of removeable padding on this pram so when your child is a lot bigger you can remove it showing a really nice black seat which is still comfy and there would be plenty of leg room for them…

Im not keen on the umbrella but as we only use that in summer im sure it will come in handy

As for the car seat our option is to not have one for the pram anyway so this does suit me…but I knw silver cross are working on there car seat for this pram to be able to be isofixed also….im not sure how successful that is thou

The feel, use, accessories for this pram are just wonderful…down to the detail of a little flap on the back of your hood ..its magnetic and again silent so no waking baby up for a peek…

The handle has 3 height settings too which is great news..most only have two ive found…for folding purpose it’s a doddle and fits into small spaces…the carry seat is a little bulky to shove on your back parcel shelve but you can certainly squeeze it on the back seats if your boot is full.

Pics coming soon people…if your interested….:happydance:

the added shopping basket is defo out in sept ...retailed at £19.99 ..thats what $29.34

....the one attached is pointless lol...so this would be a defo extra purchase that i dont mind paying..the pram is such good value for money in every other way...

I have just been reading your review of this pram and it does sound really good one that I will defenetly be looking at nearer the time.

You worry me a wee bit suggesting putting stuff on the back parcel shelf. If you are involved in an accident that is something that will fly forward at head height and possibly hit you on the head. I only ever put soft light things on the parcel shelf like maybe a jumper or something.

I know somebody who had a box of hankies on theirs, the driver had to make an emergancy stop and it flew forward hit him on the head giving him a bad headache for the rest of the day and then hit the passenger on the arm leaving him with a huge bruise.
