Anyone else? Been like this last few days to a week. Thought it was my older laptop(dell running firefox) issue as it freezes on imugr when to many photos. But on husbands laptop(toshiba running chrome) that is only 2 years old and it is still pretty bad.

Everything is slow-opening threads, replying, back out. NO other sites are slow

From time to time with routine maintenance of the site some members can experience a lag effect, it usually corrects itself in time.
You can try clearing your cookies and cache and see if that helps.

I've been having the same problem for 2 months now....it's soooo slow. Help

I've cleared my cache and cookies but its still slow as molasses. When I log out and just view the site that way, it's not slow at all. So i know its something wrong with ME. Have I done something to insult the administrator? Am I on probation or something?

It may be that when you are logged in you see signatures and that slows the site down, whereas not logged in you don't see them. There is an option to turn signatures off, try it and see if that helps.

Just switched but do not think it will help as it is not so much the threads as it is the other parts. Like log in and then want to respond to PM. It takes LONG time to go to pm and then long time to open. Or a thread search.

I changed the messages to 40 per page just now, figured less time waiting for next page to load.

Something is up as it has been consistenly bad for months and I use husbands newer laptop and used my sisters 6 month old laptop with same issue. And FINE every site I go to from basic to downloading videos.

I had my friend log on to her account from MY computer and she is not having the slow issues...so obviously it's me and my specific username. These issues started for me right after I sent a somewhat negative private message to the administrator Wobbles (I think that's her name)... I thought she was bullying one of the girls in a journal and on Facebook, so I told her that I didn't think her behavior was appropriate. Is this in retaliation for that? :(
