Skylar has a cold :(

Her Dad brought it home. So far only big green bogeys and sleeping more. I'm hoping it doesn't get worse.

Have you preemie mums had any experience in this?

My oldest caught a cold from his Grandparents when he was a few months old. We used a lot of baby Vicks and had a humidifier running constantly (also brought him in the bathroom full of steam. He got over it pretty quickly, and only had a stuffy nose for the most part.

My preemie has her first cold and it's a bad one. She had a fever all last weekend so we brought her to the doctor Monday morning and found out she has an ear infection. Then she got a cold the next day. She has had a runny nose, coughing and is losing her voice. It sounds so sad when she comes up to me and says mama in her sad voice.

Oh no poor wee girl, how's she feeling now? Skylar's just a bit snuffly.

She seems to be doing better finally. Today is the first day in a while she's had 3 proper meals and lots to drink. She's still got a cough and a runny nose though.

my son got gastroenteritis at 4 months and it circled terribly for 2/3 months (almost constantly) but then as oddly as it came it went... It was hard though never seen so many bodily fluids at once

I had gastroenteritis at 4 months pregnant too... other than those twice we have never had it before or again

I had flu in late pregnancy and after he was born but he seemed immune to it... he recognized my cough which was cute but he jumped every time OH coughed
