So, for the past several weeks, Eli's been a hopping baby -- to the point that after work I could sit down and just watch him jostle my belly around with kicks and thumps. But now I'm getting up to 28 weeks, and that enthusiasm is just gone? I still feel him shift from time to time, which at least keeps me from getting totally paranoid, but...

I keep hearing that baby shouldn't slow down, that they should maintain the same level of activity, despite them growing and losing room? What I tend to feel is either hiccups low in my pelvis, or what feels like "whole body" movements -- very few kicks, or punches, or anything that could really get my belly moving. Is this... normal? I know he's running out of room, but I keep thinking about how I'm told that activity should stay the same for baby and it just makes me really nervous... :(

Any advice and/or reassurances? Is this typical for babies at 28 weeks?

as the baby starts to run out of room the kicks nd punches become less frequent nd more often than not, all u feel is wriggles / movemments.
don't worry, sometimes i can't actually feel lo movin... but when i lie down flat i can see him movin.
xx

if you ever feel worried ring the hospital xxxx
