Small and low bump ... ? 27 weeks

Hi everyone,

I am 27 weeks today and don't really feel like my bump is growing, in my opinion it's still small and has never really risen. I am quite tall but feel that there is a big gap between my boobs and th start of my bump - does that make sense?

I can't upload photos but would be SO grateful if other 27/28 weekers could?!?

I was the same and still am....My bump was always low and I find it very small also.I!If your midwife hasn't said anything about it then I wouldn't worry hun!Every women carries differently xx

I am 36 weeks but all the way through this pregnancy so many people have said that I have a small bump... up until 4 weeks ago though my fundal measurements were 'spot on' but now I am measuring small, sent for a scan at 34 weeks and baby was weighing in at 5lb 6oz! So please try not to worry about it, I too am fairly tall and thin and my midwife says that I have tight stomach muscles that hold baby in, we all carry differently and I think everyone secretly worries about the size and shape of their bumps!

I'll put one of mine up later. I have small bump and a low fundal height too and my baby is measuring okay (a little smaller than normal but I'm teeny anyway) xxx
 
I have a fairly small bump and it's very low. Some days it feels like she's chillin' in my pelvis! I wouldn't worry about it, if your Dr/MW isn't concerned there should be no worries :)
 
Hey, i haven't managed to see my m/w yet, but have always had small bumps, but all my babies were above 7lb and born at 37weeks (ish) I have to say this is the smallest i have been, so i too am a bit concerned that maybe i need to up my calorie intake or something!!(am v busy with the other 3)

Can we see a pic hun??

I hope mine goes some way to easing your mind.

I feel my bump is small too but apparently it measures perfectly and baby has always been spot on her dates at my scans! Everyone else I know who is pregnant has bigger bumps than me and I am sooooo jealous!
 
Thank you guys! I'm rubbish with technology and can't upload a pic. I'm now 30 weeks and would say it has started to grow, my mum who is a midwife and my actual midwife seem happy with it, its just everyone tells me its small but I think now maybe its that I havent put weight on anywhere else, im all bump which is v.neatly formed. Should be grateful I guess!!! x

My bump is usually on the small side - here is me at 36 weeks with my last pregnancy (#2). She was born 5 days later at 7lbs 4oz - so big for gestation. I was measuring about 5 weeks behind and with my clothes people couldn't tell I was pregnant until 32w or so.

I'm 28 weeks with #3 now and am on the small side, but only measuring 2 weeks behind. Not worried at all though - I just measure small. The babies are big!!!
