So unorganised this year. Money is pretty strapped and my MH is going awol. DD1's being awkward with not knowing what she's wanting for her birthday and interests changing like no tomorrow. She said she doesn't want everything too 'girly' because she's turning into a tomboy. DD2 is pretty easy as she likes collectible things, a lot are a waste of money though. Thank you ladies life seems to be throwing me under every bus at the moment making me struggle. I feel guilty due to showing no positive emotion towards DD1's birthday - the exitement hasn't hit me this year.

Thrown a few things (27 to be precise) in the basket from argos pittance of a sale, debating which to throw out and narrow it down to approx 10.

Debated on getting DD1 a Poopsie Surprise unicorn too, but it's out of stock now. Caved in to the new dolls version but OH wasn't convinced with the price at £49.99. It's £10 off £50 spend in-store at smyths and he's agreed so I'm going there tomorrow after dropping the girls off at school! Grab some of the LOL's too had to get some of my reservations from amazon as my collection time ran out and no stock to renew it.

I can't wait for my deliveries to arrive over the next few days!

Well, I've finished the girls in a shocking 2 weeks. Overspent by pretty much 100% which is sickening to see, but I fall into the rut of addiction when I'm low. Buy something to cheer me up, feel bad about it after and then I buy something else to bring me up again; rinse and repeat. I am done with them for definite. Shoot me if I buy anything else please. OH was surprised with the lists despite him being the one at home accepting parcels! Clearly doesn't take much notice lol. But at least we can have a more relaxed December with no mad dash shopping in the little spare time I will have. Stockings will probably be a miss this year unless I find a super small one to fit an electric toothbrush and little cheap bits and bobs in.

Finances were a more than expected this month (luckily), so may as well get as much done as possible whilst it's there. I can finish OH's off in November/December unless a bargain arises beforehand. My grandads present(s) can be bought gradually too.

Just have to window shop with everybody else's buys now!

I don't know how I'm feeling regarding DD1's birthday still as it's next Wednesday. 2 of my sisters managed to cover 2 things from the list which has saved us £30ish, and no temptation to replace which is good.

Don’t worry C I’ve not started yet ! We’ve had a lot going on last 2 months . We got stung for the girls after school activities too, but they love it so can’t really moan (but I will haha ).

Still no purchases! I bought another Christmas tree and some decorations this week to compensate lol.
Exactly, I think I panic too much but stuck to my guns this time round and hopefully learn from it for future years. It won't be long before everybody else builds their bundles up!!

My Grandad is point blank refusing to receive anything from us all (rest of the family too) - his health is really deteriorating and he's stubborn with it so declines help due to being very independent. His arthritis is beyond repair now . He tells us every year not to buy anything and admitted to not opening majority of the things and saying we're wasting money on him. Stated that we have to buy a single tub of chocolates for him from everybody He turns 83 on 17th December too which makes it super hard.

Hamper idea is now out of the window. I was looking at getting him a really warm blanket and hand warmers as they would be extremely useful to him and then some chocolates and the recent school photo of DD's. I won't wrap anything just to make his life that little bit easier.
