Smear test.....

I received a letter to book my Smear sorry if tmi! But obviously we are ttc so when do you think the best time would be for me to book it? It wouldn't be good after ovulation would it in case I do get pregnant for them to be poking around in there!? Any help appreciated xx

I would say before o, but ask your dr for sure.

I had mine a few days before O last cycle. But I've had a test while pregnant before and it never hurt the baby. Not really sure though. You're best to ask

It wouldn't hurt to have it after ovulation. Smear's work best mid cycle.

I had a smear done when I first found out I was pregnant. I ended up with hyperemesis gravidum, so they rushed me in to do a smear before going right to hospital for IV treatment. (I had turned grey, literally) and it didn't hurt baby in the slightest. They even felt my uterus.

Baby is still doing well, shes a misbehaver in there haha.
